Ira needs a vacation with her pseudo- Eema

I'd like to start off my little essay with a quote from you, "I've been telling you for far too long that you need a vacation!" Even though I disagree with you, I decided to write this because I love you and I know you say these things because you care about me. So I'm going to put my money where your mouth is…

You and I both know that I have never been on a real vacation; I don't even own a passport. YOU have been the one telling me numerous times to get one but I never had a need to. I didn't have to get one for spring break because our plans for the cruise fell through so this would give me a great/real reason to get one. And what better way to break in my new passport than with a trip to Ireland with you.

In all honestly, Josef, I know I really am unbearable… I mean come on we are practically family. But look at it this way. At least you know my tendencies…

I pretty much go with whatever you say because you are older and it really is your trip so it's pretty much whatever you say goes. I'm down for exploring and actually attending tours because HELLO I have never been outside of the US except to Israel when I was a little Jew.

I can do the pub thing and you wouldn't need to worry about me because you know I'm a responsible drunk (i.e. I don't drink excessively and I wont be hung over the next day)

I would make sure you got all three, KOSHER, meals in each day and on a budget.

And above all I want us to have fun. I want us to have a smile on our faces the entire time because this is your graduation trip and this might be the only chance that we can actually take a vacation together, cause God knows a trip to Judy's house for Passover isn't an escape.

1 people left some love... Will you?:

I'm dying at "...God knows a trip to Judy's house for Passover isn't an escape."

Too, too funny. And I'm very proud of you for stepping up and trying to take advantage of opportunities.

Love you, Iris. Good luck!
