The Suspense is Killing Me!

Ok, so I'm sitting in my Comparative Politics of Ethnic Conflict class right now reading over the entry submissions (yet again) from my BlackBerry, and I still don't feel any closer to selecting a winner than I did this morning when I woke up.

But the good news is that I absolutely have to pick a winner tonight, because I need to give the name of my travel partner to http://www.tenontours.com Tenon Tours by tomorrow morning— so don't fret, by midnight tonight somebody WILL be told to get their passport (and liver!) ready for Ireland.

With that being said, I am totally relying on the help from my celebrity guest advisors and the results from the live online poll found in the right-hand sidebar of this blog.

Also, I'm now opening up the comments section of this posting to any feedback the anybody may want to give to help me make a decision! So, now it's just as much on you as it is on me...

Out of all the entries I've received for this contest, who do you think I should take on the ultimate trip-of-a-lifetime to Ireland with me?

Thanks for your help!

XO,
Josef.

im not sure man...if youre only going to rely on what the judges said and also the poll, then you have no problems. but if you are still trying to think it through to make the decision on your own, im can see your problem.
its a hard decision. i think that if it were me, i would use the judges and the poll to narrow down the pool from 25 to 5 or something and then make the decision. its important to think about who would be the best traveling partner. if youre only going to drink, sleep off the hangover and then drink again you need to find the person who can best hold their liqour, is not an annoying drunk, and can also have your back while youre there.
if you plan on spending the nights (and early evenings) drinking but experiencing the culture during the day, then you need to think about someone who is a good adventurer, a good drinker, and not anyone who is whiney.
i would pick someone who has international experience (cause being comfortable abroad is really important to having a good trip), who is mellow enough to go with the hectic flow of partying the nights away as well as being wisked away to another country, and someone who is low maintenance.
when i went away last year, i had a sort of annoying travel buddy who was a little too up tight for my taste and it soured things a little.
when you went away in december, who would you have wanted to be there? i think thats a good standard.
at any rate, i think no matter who you pick, you need to make sure they are most compatible with you cause at the end of the day, if you pick someone because you feel you owe them or something, that the pick was not organic to you, you might not enjoy yourself fully and that is really important, you know?
ok well, good luck and if you want to talk it out, let me know!
